Group Communication Platform Renewed with Office 365 for Changing Work Style with Optimized Costs
The mission of the BANDAI NAMCO Group (Hereinafter BNG) is to provide “Dreams, Fun and Inspiration” through their products and services, and their vision is to become “the Leading Innovator in Global Entertainment.” BNG comprises BANDAI NAMCO Holdings Inc., which is a pure holding company, three strategic business units(SBUs), and affiliated business companies that support the work of the SBUs.

Toys and Hobby SBU
Manufacturing and marketing toys ,confectionery ,foods ,vending machine capsule toys ,cards ,plastic models ,apparel ,sundries ,and other products
Network Entertainment SBU
Developing ,marketing and distributing network content; developing and marketing home video game software, arcade game machines, and prizes for amusement machines; planning and operating amusement and other facilities
Visual and Music Production SBU
Developing and marketing visual content, visual package software and music software; distributing video on demand content; conducting live entertainment operations
Overview
BNG chose Office 365 for group common communication platform including overseas offices.
Currently 6,500 users are using the service in 15 major subsidiaries in Japan. BNG plans to add 2,500 users in Asia, North America and Europe.
Simaltaneously with Office 365 BNG implemented "Ping Federate" (by Ping Identity) for user identity management. Ping Federate together with Microsoft Active Directory runs on Microsoft Azure.
As for operation monitoring of Azure and maintenance, BNG utilizes "Managed System Service" by JBS.
