Japan Business Systems, Inc. (Headquarters: Minato Ward, Tokyo; President: Yukihiro Makita; hereinafter, “JBS”) has started providing “Project Facilitation for Microsoft 365.” This service aggregates information related to projects in Microsoft Teams (hereinafter, “Teams”) and supports the smooth progress of projects.

In general, a project is implemented by forming a team of multiple stakeholders to achieve a certain purpose. Projects are operated through the following cycle: 1) Hold a meeting to adjust the schedule and solve the issues, 2) Achieve shared recognition and agree on how to proceed, 3) Proceed with individual tasks, and 4) Detect issues in individual support. JBS has released Project Facilitation for Microsoft 365 to solve such problems of project management. Project Facilitation for Microsoft 365 supports the progress of projects in accordance with the overall flow. For example, the scheduling phase is made easy by a function which recommends free time. When holding meetings, support is provided in accordance with the pre-determined agenda. The service also registers tasks while updating meeting minutes.
