Announcement of change to Microsoft Japan CSP Program

JBS is a Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) of Microsoft Japan. In response to information from Microsoft Japan on changes to the system for the CSP Program, this announcement is being made to notify current users of applicable licenses of the changes.

Microsoft Japan announced that it will move from the existing plan (CSP Program) to the new licensing program “CSP New Commerce Experience (hereinafter, ‘NCE’).” Microsoft Japan made this move to provide consistent and simple services.

The changes from the existing CSP Program are as follows.

• The purchase period (monthly or yearly) can be selected for each product. However, in principle, it is not possible to reduce the number of seats during the contract period or cancel the contract partway through the period.
• The contract period can be set at the timing of product purchase.

If you have already entered into a license contract under the CSP Program, we will gradually transition to NCE from July 1, 2022.
