  • Dynamics 365 Finance: contributed to improving companies’ financial management using Microsoft cloud solutions.
  • Converged Communications: contributed to companies’ work style transformation through telephone and conference system DX
  • Surface: contributed to companies’ device DX by combining Surface devices and other Microsoft solutions.
  • MSパートナーアワード2024

  • Partners of the Year awards are selected in 55 categories from among partner companies participating in the Microsoft Partner Network. Additionally, the Surface Partner Award is directly nominated by Microsoft employees through Microsoft worldwide field, partner regional leaders, and Microsoft corporate SE&O team to select a Surface partner providing Microsoft solutions.

    Background to JBS’s Wins

The reasons for winning this time are as follows.

    Copilot Award (Generative AI)

JBS developed the verification results, which were conducted in advance, for Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365 as a service for customers at an early stage, providing services such as Copilot NAVI, a service that contributes to the productivity reforms of companies using generative AI, and supported the thorough utilization and establishment of generative AI at companies. Additionally, it demonstrated the effect measurements of implementing generative AI using Viva Insights for the first time in Japan, developing a support system to draw out the quantitative effects necessary for companies to adopt Copilot.

Dynamics 365 Finance Award (Financial Management)

JBS developed ERP and CRM with Microsoft cloud solutions combining Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Azure and has implemented Dynamics 365 Project Operations on multiple occasions, something that is still rare in Japan. Additionally, it contributed to improving the speed of streamlining and decision-making in companies’ financial management, such as by replacing the financial systems for customers in the manufacturing industry with Dynamics 365 Finance.

Converged Communications Award (Telephone/Conference System DX)

JBS realized the DX of telephone and conference systems at companies predominantly in the manufacturing industry as well as at public institutions, contributing to reducing costs, improving convenience, enhancing security, and transforming users’ work styles. While realizing linkage to existing multiple-base PBX*1 with dozens of bases, it achieved a smooth migration to cloud PBX. JBS proposed and implemented a new way of proceeding with meetings through a conference system using Teams Rooms Device. At Microsoft Base Toranomon, run by JBS, it provided an environment to experience Teams Rooms/Teams telephone, helping companies to come to a decision about implementing the system.

*1 PBX: a telephone switchboard. It is an acronym for Private Branch eXchange.

    Surface+ Partner of the Year

As a certified partner that completed the Surface Modern Solutions Program, JBS contributed to companies’ DX by combining Surface PC and Surface Hub with Microsoft’s latest solutions such as Microsoft 365, Windows Autopilot, DaaS, and other methods. In particular, following the development of a proprietary PC kitting service for migration to Windows 11, JBS accounted for 54% of all Windows Autopilot sales, its combined use rate with Microsoft Intune rose to 74% of the total, and its cross-sell ratio for Microsoft 365 solutions was also high, leading to this high evaluation.

We have received the following endorsement from Microsoft Japan regarding these awards.

Thank you for your continued driving of business with Microsoft Japan. With deep gratitude for the excellent outcomes JBS has displayed, we awarded JBS with Microsoft Partner of the Year 2024 in the three categories of Copilot, Dynamics 365 Finance, and Converged Communications, as well as Surface+ Partner of the Year 2024. JBS has comprehensive knowledge of the extensive range of Microsoft products and has supported numerous customers. Last year, Microsoft released many AI-related products, and JBS has proactively promoted use of them at their own company, especially Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365, and developed the knowledge accumulated for customers. (In fact, the support service Copilot NAVI which was released at the same time as the general release of Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365 has already been implemented by 100 customers and there is no mistaking that it is an essential service for many customers.)
JBS has led the implementation and promotion of use of Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365, which is of particularly high interest to customers in the Japanese market, with overwhelming speed to enterprises and other customers, and we are very grateful for that. Additionally, JBS has supported the business reform of customers in the manufacturing industry through the implementation of Dynamics 365 Finance, improvement of work productivity of customers not only with cloud products but with device-integrated solutions centered around Microsoft Teams Rooms and Teams telephone, and proposed an original service for Microsoft Surface using Windows Autopilot and Microsoft Intune to realize PC kitting without a master image, targeting customers who are considering migration to Windows 11 in light of support for Windows 10 ending. Microsoft will equip all products with generative AI going forward and we expect that JBS will offer customers new cloud-generated value through collaboration with Microsoft cloud products and hardware adapted to AI. Microsoft Japan will continue to closely cooperate with JBS to drive customers’ AI transformation forward.
