(Headquarters: Minato Ward, Tokyo; President: Yukihiro Makita; hereinafter, “JBS” securities code: 5036) announces the release of Connex Module, a service using Microsoft Teams (hereinafter, “Teams”) to make and receive calls on office telephones anywhere. It supports PBX cloud migration for companies that are burdened by the operation of telephones at the office and makes choosing a flexible work style possible.

  • Realize Easy to Use Office Telephones with Cloud PBX

    By implementing Connex Module, employees can make and receive phone calls from Teams using the company’s telephone numbers from anywhere, whether at home or on the go. By setting groups, it is also possible to call multiple employees simultaneously, or for employees to answer a phone call on another member’s behalf and hold or transfer a phone call. This eliminates the need to come into the office simply to operate the telephones and enables users to smoothly receive calls in increasingly common remote work environments.

    This service realizes the PBX functions necessary for office telephones in a cloud environment using Microsoft Teams Phone so it can be implemented immediately in any environment using Teams. JBS provides a one-stop service to issue and set phone numbers, realizing a smooth start.

    Additionally, utilizing the experience that JBS has gained from implementing Teams and other Microsoft products at various companies, JBS has developed Module Pro Service as user support for Connex Module. Settings changes such as adding, changing, and deleting phone numbers can be done on the same day and we also handle cause investigations and inquiries for communication problems, etc.

    • As long as in a Teams usage environment, by linking an account to an external number, it can be used as an office telephone. Even when the assignment of a new telephone number is required, it can be ready for use in five days.
    • By using Teams Phone, employees can make calls using the same telephone number wherever they are, and can also handle group calls and call transfers.
    • The user support service Module Pro Service handles not only adding, changing, and deleting phone numbers but also inquiries for troubleshooting.
    • Initial cost: The registration fee at the time of concluding a contract is 30,000 yen per company, and the fee for issuing a number is 3,000 yen per number (in the case of a 0AB-J number) or 1,500 yen (in the case of a 050 number)
    • Monthly basic rate: 1,480 yen per user (in the case of a 0AB-J number) or 980 yen (in the case of a 050 number)
    • Call charges (when making a call): a flat pay-as-you-go system regardless of the telecommunications carrier of the number you are calling; 8 yen per 3 minutes or 5.4 yen per 2 minutes for landlines and 16 yen per minute for cell phones and PHS.
