JBS Acquires Advanced Certification at D&I AWARD 2024

At D&I Award 2024 announced by JobRainbow Co., Ltd. on December 18, 2024, JBS acquired Advanced certification in recognition of its initiatives to create an environment in which people of diverse values and backgrounds thrive while respecting and supporting each other.

The D&I Award is one of Japan’s biggest awards that certifies and recognizes companies that are working on diversity and inclusion. Assessing and scoring companies’ D&I initiatives based on an original “diversity score” (comprised of the five perspectives of gender gap, LGBTQ+, disabilities, multicultural coexistence, and childcare/nursing), certifications are granted for Best Workplace, Advanced, Standard, and Beginner, depending on the score.

JBS upholds diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) and promotes an environment in which people can be themselves. JBS was recognized for its concrete initiatives such as formulating a DE&I policy, enhancing its HR system, and promoting flexible work styles, and was certified as Advanced, the second highest out of four ranks.
