Launch of a Document Management System for Local Governments That Enables Electronic Approval

JBS has launched provision of the Document Management (Electronic Approval) System for Local Governments which can be implemented by making effective use of Microsoft 365 licenses.

The importance of digitizing public document management has been cited as a key factor in promoting digital transformation (DX) in local governments. However, while many local governments feel the need for DX, the reality is that high system usage fees are a barrier to its adoption. Against this backdrop, an increasing number of local governments have been considering using Microsoft 365 as a DX platform in recent years. The Document Management (Electronic Approval) System for Local Governments recently released by JBS realizes public document management by effectively utilizing Microsoft 365 licenses. This allows for implementation at a lower cost than introducing a document management system from scratch, and it will accelerate DX in local governments through the use of Microsoft 365 licenses.

• This document management (electronic approval) system combines the Microsoft 365 apps and services SharePoint Online, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Microsoft Entra ID with Outlook or Microsoft Teams.
• It supports general document management flows from receiving to drafting, approving, storing and disposing of documents.
