JBS Releases JBS Tech Blog Post on the Verification of Copilot+ PC Live Captions Function

JBS recently conducted a test on the use of Copilot+ PC’s Live Captions function for the automatic transcription of a New Year’s live broadcast for employees, by President Makita. The aim was to promote understanding and penetration of management messages in real time for 2,700 diverse employees.

Employees with hearing impairments or who speak languages other than Japanese had voiced opinions that live streaming was difficult to understand because they could not understand the content in real time, so our engineers stepped up to help. Compared to other transcription tools that each employee had been using up before, Copilot+ PC’s Live Captions was able to transcribe with high accuracy at a stress-free speed, proving to be a highly effective method for achieving our aim.
