Cloudera on Azure for Big Data PoC
This service deploys Cloudera’s (a global Hadoop distributer) Distribution including Apache Hadoop (CDH) on Microsoft’s public cloud, Microsoft Azure, and allows you to test the potential of your big data usage.
Service Overview
This service allows customers to test the potential of big data usage. It deploys Cloudera’s CDH on Microsoft’s public cloud, Microsoft Azure. It is possible to use a Hadoop-based environment using Hive / Spark as soon as application procedures are completed. After implementation, customers can freely use ecosystems (such as Impala and Solr) included in CDH. Engineers with extensive implementation experience provide support from PoC service to production implementation.
- Hive: provides an interactive analysis environment using HiveQL
- Spark: framework that conducts high speed distributed processing for large-scale data
- Impala: executes interactive SQL queries for big data
- Solr: search engine for full-text search
